Product: Office Jet 5740

My printer can print wirelessly from my phone or computer; it is fully set up. All of a sudden I cannot scan to email which I have done daily for more than a year! I have restarted everything twice, unplugged cables, etc. It does everything else but this and the error message is that it cannot connect to Web Services. Again, I can print to it wirelessly.

Web Services, on which ePrint and Scan to Email depends, is apparently down on one or more regions.

 

The issue has been reported to HP (yesterday).

 

No, we don't have an ETA or any information.

I am writing as a personal courtesy only.

I don't have any inside information nor any magic to bypass the service.

 

What to do?

Wait... and try starting Web Services again later.
