OfficeJet 5255
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased an HP OfficeJet 5255. (I had my old HP for more than 15 years; it's still working But I needed auto feeder).
I am trying to scan mulitple photos at once, FROM the Desktop computer (So I can up the resolution and lower the compression), and can only scan multiple photos into one page, using "scan" on HP Smart app (on my desktop)
How do I do this correctly?
I sure do miss my HP Solution Center!

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan through  the HP Printer Assistant (new Solution Center) using the HP Scan .

Check out this resource on how to scan multiple photos with Autocrop:

Scan multiple photos with Auto Crop (HP Scan Extended)

(different printer but the software interface is similar)

For more scanning resources, click here.

Hope that helps.

I have done as instructed, but do not know if I did it right.

I cannot find "HP Printer Assistant" anywhere on my computer.
I need instructions by tomorrow or will return printer (tomorrow is last day to get refund).
Can I get voice to voice help?

Hi @LaurieRGB86

Please refer to this resource on how to download and install the software.

HP Officejet 5230 Download and install software

(same printer series as what you have)

After that, follow the instructions on the previous post to scan the photos.

Hope that helps!
