Does anyone have a scan software they use instead of the HP Smart ? I appreciate any reply.

Hmm.. Yes, it was a nice try - it should work.

Interesting that it does not do so.

 

Description says this package contains the Full Solution Software.

I extracted the contents and it looks right.

Meh.

 

The only other way to get to the Full Feature Software is to run the HP Easy Start Setup Software.

When asked to choose, opt in for the Full Driver.

The packaging is perhaps a bit different - the naming convention is odd and  new.

 

The HP Full Feature Software - including HP Scan is available for your printer.

Download-save-install the printer Software

 

HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software

Web Page:  Software and drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One Printer series 

Open Category Software-Utility 

 

When asked to choose, opt for the Full Driver

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.
