Dear all,

in trying to set up the Scan To Mail feature, I continue to get an error message saying that my Gmail credentials are wrong.

I have tried a number of suggested fixes such as switching the Less Secure Apps to ON and disabling the two factor authentification, but to no avail.

Any other suggestions ?

Thx !

Hi @Newton2610

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "Scan to Email".

To better assist you -

1.) Are you trying to perform scan to email from the printer's control panel or from your Mac?

2.) Is your Email account configured in the mail account?

3.) Is your printer connected to the Web-Services?

4.) Are you able to login via web mail?

Please refer to page# 15 from the User Manual for the steps to configure "Scan to Email".

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
