You should be considering the warning. It's because SMBv1 is risky. Determine if that risk is worth taking on to enable it.

Supposedly Microsoft security fix MS17-010 fixed that exploit, but many have still disabled the feature as a cautionary step if not needed!! I'm on the fence!!  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/SecurityBulletins/2017/ms17-010

Excellent, I thought I would never fix this, I hate it how Microsoft make changes and do not make lay language noties on all probable effects a system update does. And if they do, they should make such notices more visible to their users. Thank you OnboardT
