Microsoft Windows 11

Hi folks. I have an HP Envy 7155 running Windows 11 on a laptop PC with plenty of horsepower. As many of you know, the scan dialog box is tiny and unreadable. Responses from HP support and Google all seem to say try scaling and reducing the resolution to make the box bigger. That doesn't work because it makes everything else in the computer universe way too big to use.

It seems to me that the problem is with HP's software/drivers, and they are refusing to update them. I think they want me to buy a new printer; I will, but it won't be an HP. Today HP updated their drivers again and it screwed up my system, forcing me to download HP Smart to operate my printer. Unless I'm missing something, HP's corporate practices are dismal, bordering on criminal (we buy a printer and they render it unusable).

My question is, is there something we can do as a community to force HP to fix the problem and quit d*cking around?

Please try HP Scan Extended using the following software

                 https://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, for Windows 10 & 11:

   (a) Hit Win key,
   (b) Scroll down to HP group/folder,
   (c) Double click "HP Scan Extended"

You can put a shortcut on Taskbar or Desktop

Regards.

Thank you Banhien. That worked, although the larger image is degraded it is much better than the tiny one that was unreadable and unable to enlarge.

I'm now having the same issue with my printer dialog box. When I click on my printer icon on my desktop, the dialog box that appears after a period of "retrieving information" is also smaller than it was before. This time I am able to enlarge it, unlike the Scan dialog. Is there a link that would have my printer appear in a normal size?

And, why isn't HP fixing this? IT's been complained about for a long time!

Thanks again for your help.

P.S: Where's the "Kudos" thumb-up button? I wanted to press it but I don't have one.
