Hello, I am using the hp smart app on my phone and it’s linked to the same account, using the same wifi as that on my PC. I’m used to scanning documents one by one on my pc but it takes so long. I want to use my hp smart app on my phone and be able to save it through the cloud and then find it on my computer.. how do I do this?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

You can absolutely scan documents using the HP Smart app on your phone and access them on your PC via the cloud. Here's how to set it up and streamline your workflow:

Steps to Scan from Phone and Access on PC

1. Scan Using HP Smart App on Your Phone

  • Open the HP Smart app on your phone.
  • Tap "Scan".
  • Choose Camera Scan or Printer Scan (if your printer has a scanner).
  • Scan your document.
  • After scanning, tap "Save" or "Share".

2. Save to Cloud Storage

  • When prompted to save or share, choose a cloud option like:
    • Google Drive
    • Dropbox
    • OneDrive
    • Or even Email to yourself
  • Make sure you're logged into the same cloud account on both your phone and PC.

3. Access on Your PC

  • On your PC, open the same cloud storage service (e.g., Google Drive).
  • Navigate to the folder where you saved the scan.
  • Download or open the file directly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
