HP OfficeJet 3830 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the officejet 3830.  I have used it for well over a year with no issues.  As of yesterday, when I open the HP smart app on my computer is tells me that scan is not available.  Scanning directly from the printer and from the phone app are working fine.  It just won't scan from the computer.  I've gone through the "doctor" and everything.  Updated the driver, restarted the printer, the computer and the network router.  Have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.  Still nothing...  It will print, just won't scan...

Hi,

Try right-clicking the printer and select Forget Printer within HP Smart

Add it again and check for any difference.

If the same persists, search for HP Smart, right-click it and select App Settings, then try repairing, resetting, or uninstalling the app (then reinstall it from the Microsoft Store) and check for any change.
