I have a new HP3630 all in one scanner/printer, my issue is when i scan a document, it scans it ok, but when i open it in windows the document is slightly on a angle, ie it's not straight.
I have scanned the same document with my other HP printer a HP PHOTOSMART C6180 and the document comes out perfect and aligned, but with the 3630 every document has a slight angle to it..Yes I HAVE RUN SCAN DOCTOR, and made sure the edge of the paper is flush with the edge of the scanner.
Could this be a hardware issue ? i have only had it 3 days, everything else works ok,
kind regards
Frank K.

The following document from the Troubleshooting Section may help resolve the issue:
Reference
Step 6 --
Take out the cartidges and then replace them back into the printer
Wait for the alignment page to print
Step 7 --
Follow the instructions to align the cartridges
Check results
and
and
Fix the content in the scan software
If the issue is content dependent, that is, if the problem is not for every print / scan, consider using software to adjust the content.
Depending on the Scan software you are using, you might be able to "Deskew" the scan, that is, straighten the content.
For example,
Save as PDF > More >
Document > CHECK box Straighten Content

I have found an option in the HP software to align the scan as every one i do comes out slanted, but i have to do this every time i scan an object..it won't let me save the settings..this is tiresome to say the least.
