HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

Hi,

I wanted to scan a multipage document to save as a whole PDF file on a shared network on a Windows workstation from my scanner using the scanner online display (not the HP Smart software, just because the workstation is not easly accessible from the same place as the scanner)

I get the support by phone that tell me that it is not possible to do that with a scanner !!!! I am very estonished.

When I scan the first page, at the end, the scanner display a page that offers the choice to Terminate or Continue....BUT if I wait for some seconds, the page disappear and the file is sent to the server without having the time to place the second page for scanning and tap on the screen to continue !!!!

The support says that IT IS NORMAL !?! How can you you understand THAT !

And there seems to be no way to access a technical support that can explain me that !

Can someone explain me why the behaviour is normal ?

Regards.

Eric.
