We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Last week I had to register again to use HP Smart, maybe because of an update? After this, the scans I am trying to make do not appear in my laptop (Microsoft Surface 3, Windows 10-64). The scanner works perfectly when I operate it from my laptop but not in conjunction with HP Smart. Any ideas on how to fix this? It is an HP 5740 Officejet all-in-one. HP Print & Scan Doctor can not find anything wrong with it and I have already downloaded the newest drivers and so on.

Since installing the latest version of HP Smart the scanner will not send a properly formatted file to my PC when the scan is performed using the document feeder.  The scanner will use the document feeder OK, but the document sent to the PC is not readable.  HP Smart works OK with the flatbed scanner feature.  Windows Fax and Scan works correctly with both the document feeder and the flatbed scanner.  I have tried scanning with the document feeder on my 3 HP PCs (2 desktops and 1 laptop) all with the same result.  I have completed all recommended updates for Microsoft 10 and HP scanner drivers.  No improvement.
