Can someone tell me how to create a Scan shortcut to my desk top, I haven't got one at the moment, and each time I need to scan something I'm using the Scan and Print doctor, which isn't ideal, I can't find anything in the programs for my printer either, which I don't understand, can someone help me please

I now have the App on my phone, and it worked, so thank you very much for your help, I am very sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been ill, so I've not felt like doing anything, thanks for all your help, it's appreciated very much

Create a scan shortcut and high resolution scans  (HP Officejet Pro 8700 AiO series and 6900 series)

 

(it's for different printer and for Win 10, but may be applicable for your case)

No it didn't help me at all, I would like to put a Scan short cut on my desktop for a HP PhotoSmart 5520 printer, to make it easier for me when I want to scan anything onto my computer, all the programs I have for my printer, doesn't seem to have the option of scanning, can you please tell me how I do this?

I will try what you have suggested, and I am sorry I've not replied quickly, I've been in pain with my back, I put it out the other day,I've not been able to concentrate on anything, when I've tried to do what you suggested, I will put a reply here to tell you what happened, thank you for your help so far, I do appreciate it

Marked as Solved but not solved. My scanner works fine, just no shortcut. Come on guys, it cant be that complicated, how do we do it?
