Officejet 4650 was working fine until I did a recommended update to the Print and Scan Doctor. Now I can't scan. Error message that computer being scanned to is not turned on. I've tried everything. Uninstalled printer and reinstalled. Ran scan doctor-no help. I don't know how to undo the update or I would.

@joe4444, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
To assist you better,
- Are you trying to scan from the printer screen to the computer? (Scan to computer)
- Which app are you using to scan?
Use the HP Smart app to scan from your Win 10 PC and check if that works
Click here to download and know more about the app.
Scan to computer from printer screen requires HP full-feature driver to be installed on the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver. (if not already installed)
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Open the HP Printer Assistant software(double click printer icon on the desktop screen)
Go to Scan > Scan to computer > Manage > Enable
Try scanning.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
