I've followed instructions to set up a shortcut for Scan to Dropbox. It works if I start it from my Mac (Sonoma 14.4.1). However, if I start it from the scanner, I get "Network connection error." How can I fix this?

Welcome to the HP Community --
Try / Consider:
Create a Quick Set Profile for the Network Folder.
What is a Quick Set?
In this context,
The Quick Set is similar to an HP Smart Shortcut created and used for accessing Cloud Storage locations.
For those reading: OneDrive is a Microsoft Cloud Storage location associated with the User's account.
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Sure.
The example for OneDrive is one I had available -- I realize it is not the same location.
I don't have any MacOS devices -- that might impact the results, of course.
OK - ignore the effort as well intended but not useful in your context.
