We are currently having issues with the scan to email functionality on our HP ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1

 

The error appearing is 'SMTP server error'. 

 

We have checked our network settings and tested sending from the mailbox itself with no issues.

 

The scanner is failing a firmware upgrade from 7.137 to 7.150

 

We desperately need this functionality to work for an upcoming audit. Can anyone please assist with this??

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated
