Every time I scan to email the printer asks for a PIN.  I want to disable this option, and dont want to enter a pin when I decide to scan a document.  I tried the setting on the printer, iOS app and the window 10 app, but I couldn't find this option anywhere.  Its frustrating to say the least that the printer setting doesnt have the option to disable this feature.

Hi @TimusATX

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

To disable the PIN, you will have to access the EWS page of the printer and go to Scan > Scan to email option and disable the PIN.

Alternatively, you may create a new Scan to Email profile and not use a PIN while setup.

You may watch this video to know how to setup 'Scan to email' or refer to this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
