Hello all. I have been trying to setup Scan to Email, but am having a heck of a time. The issue is the printer is unable to connect to the internet. I am using a Wireless Access Point because I don't have an Ethernet port in my office, and don't want to use the WiFi built into the printer. I am able to ping from the WAP, so I know I am getting internet there. I have a static IP on the printer and am using the same default gateway as every other computer in my house. Any idea where I can start? I just updated the Firmware, but had to download it and run the utility on my laptop. I tried updating the firmware from the printer, but it said that it couldn't connect to the internet.
Once I can connect to the internet, then I will tackle setting up the SMTP settings. 🙂
Any help would be appreciated.
Mike

@parallon I recommend you click here to turn off the web service when done successfully,
Turning on Web Services allows your printer to communicate securely over the Internet with web-connected printing services, including HP ePrint cloud printing and HP Instant Ink delivery services.
NOTE:If you are turning on Web Services to set up your printer on HP Connected, go to Setting Up an HP Connected Account.
Read the section that matches your printer control panel type for steps to turn on Web Services.
go ahead and click here to turn on the web services, and check if it works.

Hello. Sorry for the delay. So, I tried turning on Web Services, and I am getting an error about not being connected to the internet (attached). As mentioned earlier, I have unplugged Ethernet cable from printer and connected to multiple computers, and they all are able to connect to the internet fine. Hope you can help...
EDIT: I am trying to also attach the Network Summary page for your review, but the format is being stripped. Hope you can figure it out.
Edit #2: I got it figured out. I just needed to add my DNS settings. I thought about that earlier when I noticed that they weren't set, but wasn't able to find where to change them. Feel free to close this ticket as "SOLVED". 🙂
