Yep, thanks for the heads up. The morons must have fixed something. I'd given up completely on HP's ability to respond to this. Someone must have noticed it's not working. It must have been down for 2 months. But as you both note, it's magically working again. Thanks for the heads up.

A few of us who initially experienced this issue reset printers back to factory settings. While it didn't immediately solve the problem, I wonder if it helped. Have you attempted to reset your printer back to factory settings and then give it a try?
I successfully used scan to email the day before yesterday with no issues. Hopefully the issue resolves itself for you.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully the issue will resolve itself as it did for others. Indubitably, I can only imagine your frustrations having lived through this problem for several months.
I just checked and scan to email appears to be working ok for me still. I hope HP don't break something, while attempting to resole your issue.

I'm very sorry to hear this is still not working for you. Like JHolmes I also just checked my scan to email and it is still working. One thing I might add is that I went into the console page on the computer ("Show Printer Web Page") and reset the email information including the "from" as well as smtp server, etc. etc. Then I tested it from the web page, to ensure it was working. Might suggest playing around with this.
