OK You solved my Scan to Email problem! I must appear to be a dunce!

Trying to set-up "Scan to Network Folder"  Set up everything using the You Tube instructions.

Looked good BUT when testing Always get message that cannot communicate.

Everyting is the same as "Scan to Email" and that worked just great.

How do I enable communication between printer and computer for "Scan to Network Foder" ?

Good morning Repairatrooper,

Could it be that there is no communication because the "Scan to Computer" is not enabled? After several tries

I cannot seem to be able to enable the "Scan to Computer" function. I am being sent to Print& Scan Doctor.

It communicates with my Officejet Pro 8720 just fine and tells me that there are no problems.

Can you suggest how I might enable the "Scan to Computer" function.  I have been to the little "box"

numerous time, trying to enable it. It just never works.

Retired and enjoy working with problem HP printers.

Fixed it myself . . . Yes, no communication was caused by "Scan to Computer" not

being enabled. Had to delete the software and reload the Driver software. Had

earlier tried Resetting Fatory Settings - this did NOT fix the problem.
