I am trying to setup my M281fdw scan to network feature on a new computer (Dell 5540) but having a booger of a time doing so.  I had it setup on my previous computer, but am being unsuccessful now.  I am attempting the setup through the EWS. 

 

I am fairly certain I set up the network path correctly and properly shared the folder.  The error "the test was unsuccessful. Try again" keeps appearing.

 

A question I have is for the username and PW section.  Is this the user name shown when I open the "accounts" section under settings, or the email address I use to login to Microsoft account?  Or the username under the "users" on the C drive?  Also, for password.  Which password is this?  For Microsoft account? When I set up windows 11, it didn't give me an option to select a password, it was only a PIN.  

 

This is so frustrating.
