Scan to Searchable pdf

I have Officejet 8725.

On my old laptop, using HP printer assistant I was able to save to searchable pdf.

I reinstalled the full HP driver to a new laptop, and now I cannot see the option to save as searchable pdf

Please can you help me get this function back.   It is very important for me.

Embedded OCR Software (Full Feature Software)

Embedded OCR software was removed from some printer software installation packages in mid-2022.

Other printer software has never had OCR.

Possible reasons (not verified) might include:  Compatibility issues, licensing limitations, changes elsewhere in the printer software that required the older embedded OCR to be removed.

If you have a slightly older version of the Web Pack Installation package saved in your system (check your Downloads folder) or in one of your backups, install that version.

If reloading an older version is not an option for any reason, install the latest version of the available full driver printer software and then purchase or obtain OCR software for your use.

thanks to the other members who gave me the solution.

I had a download of the full web pack downloaded in March 2022 left in my downloads folder.

I uninstalled, then installed from the older version and searchable pdf function is back.

brilliant!
