Is there a way to scan to TIFF on the HP Envy Photo 7100? It only allows me to scan to JPEG or PDF.
Thank you for any advice.

Glad to know that you are able to save the file in TIFF format now.
To change the scan settings, open the app, select the printer, just beside the name of the printer, there is a downward arrow, click on it to expand the menu.
Change the setting as required.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

@Swirls456, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you would like to scan in TIFF format from your Mac.
To assist you better, which app are you using to scan?
Have you tried using the HP Easy Scan or the Apple Image Capture app to scan from your Mac?
You may download the HP Easy Scan app from the App Store.
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you Kumar -
I downloaded the HP Easy Scan app but when opening - it doesn't find my scanner.
Please advise.
Previously I was using the HP Smart app to print (from my computer to printer) and scanning (which only works at 300 dpi).
The later, I only get error messages if I try to scan at higher 600 or 1200 dpi - why?
I've restarted as instructed, but it still shows error message.
I'm assuming your recommended HP Easy Scan will take care of this, but I have to figure out why the app is not finding my printer/scanner (HP Envy Photo 7100)?
Please advise. Thank you.

Check for any software updates on Mac
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
Now try the HP Easy Scan app.
HP Smart app only supports 300 dpi. Scanning from the flatbed glass gives an option to scan with higher resolution.
Keep me posted.

Thank you Kumar - The HP Easy Scan app works now and can save the scanned image to TIFF
but...how do you set the resolution? It saved a photo I just scanned at 200 ppi but looking to scan as TIFF to 600 dpi and/or 1200 dpi - is this possible?
Thanks again.
