On an old HP printer/scanner I had, I could send my scanning short cuts to the device display so from the device I could "scan to photos - jpg" or "scan to recipes - pdf" or whatever, with the short cuts setting the format and folder destination. Is it possible to do this with my current Envy 5644 device please? All I can find is scan to computer with no way of determining which folder the scan ends up in.

Hi,
You may not create custom shortcuts, however, any preconfigured scan shortcut can be accessed from the printer front panel too.
You may customize the settings using the HP Software.
From your printer software select Scan and then Scan a Document or Photo.
Click More > and select the Destinations tab, from there change the scan target as you would like.
Click OK and press the Save icon near the shortcut name in the left bar, then the setting will apply for your printer front panel too.
From your printer click Scan > Computer and select your computer name, from there click the scan shortcuts drop-down list (Save as PDF) to select any of the preconfigured shortcuts.
