Using HP SCAN software running on Windows 10.
I want to save the scanned document directly to Dropbox.
Under DESTINATION options I select "Dropbox" in the SEND TO select box.
Then I press the CONFIGURE button
A new window opens asking to upgrade the browser in order to use dropbox. It also says that my browser is not supported that only Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari are supported. But I already have the last vesion of Chrome installed.
I tried to click on Chrome and I installed again Chrome. But nothing changes.
HP Scan always says that my browser is not supported whenever I select dropbox as destination and I click on Configure
What shoudl I do in order to scan directly to dropox using HP Scan software?

An alternative would be to configure scan to folder on the PC and scan to the DropBox hot folder on your PC. Have you tried a different browser? Is your firewall configured properly to allow communication. Your anti-virus could be blocking the traffic as suspicious.

Thanks a lot Repairatrooper,
I am doing exactly as you suggest: I scan on a local folder that is shared in Dropbox. This is an indirect (but effective) way to scan in dropbox.
But I still wonder why a brand new software (HP SCAN) returns an incomprehensible error when I try to perform a simple operation.
Firewall is ok and dropbox is working smoothly. It does not look like a traffic error.
When I click on CONFIGURE button from HP SCAN software it opens a windows saying that my browser is not supported. But which browser? I have 2 browsers installed: Edge and Chrome and both are in the list of browser suggested by HP SCAN itself. Both browsers are updated.
How can I know which browser HP SCAN is trying to use?
Thanks again for your kind reply
