Scan to email not working with Office365

My scan to email was working perfectly until today when it started displaying "wrong username or password" error.  The configured mail account is on Office365. I did some troubleshooting, enabled multi-factor authentication, created app password, disabled it again - none of the solutions work. All network connectivity is working properly, so it seems it's an HP side issue. I configured the same account on mail clients, mobile phone - it works perfectly.
