Hell All! Setup the email settings and sent the test email which was successful. Grabbed a document to test scanning to email and it processes but stays in a a "scheuduled" status and is placed in a job list. I just need to remove this setting so I can just scan and the email goes right through.  I'm fairly good with computers/electronics and I know this has to be a simple setting I'm just looking over. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙂 Thx All!

I was able to fix the problem. Get on a laptop or computer that is connected to the same network as the HP. On your HP LCD screen in the upper right hand corner is a network icon (3 little circles w/ lines connecting) tap it and you'll be able to see the HP's IP address. Type that IP address into the browser of your computer that is connected to the same network.... Now you're in the printer, go to your email settings and there is an authentication box that will need to be either checked or unchecked depending on your email setup. That was the problem for me. I'm not at my office right now so I'm sorry for not being more detailed on which box is "checked" or "unchecked" Let me know if you're able to resolve. 🙂

I am having difficulty and don't see which box I need to check. Please help. Thanks!

The settings for authentication are in the setup for the SMTP server. Go to the embedded webserver, go the the digital send tab along the top and then click email setup. The first box on that screen is your SMTP server. If it is already there, checkmark and click edit. I believe that the third screen is the authentication screen. If your mail server requires authentication, check that and then select "always use these credentials" Enter your username and password that you use to access email. (check with your mail provider as to whether you need authentication or not. If you are using google mail or outlook 365 consult their pages for proper setup.
