We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

We work with HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn and scan to email always worked well. Since a week or two it says Username or password is incorrect. Make sure both user account and password are valid. This all worked well before. When logging into our IP address and sending a test mail it says:

Configuration

Incorrect credentials. Check your username/password and try again.

Click "OK" to go back.

The sudden "Username or password incorrect" error for your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn's scan to email likely stems from a recent change in your email provider's security, potentially requiring an app password or updated SMTP settings. First, carefully re-enter your email credentials and verify the SMTP server and port in the printer's EWS. Check your email provider's security settings for app passwords or if they've changed their authentication requirements. Also, ensure the printer has a stable internet connection and try TollByPlate restarting both the printer and router. If the issue persists, consult HP support or their community forums for model-specific advice.

Thanks for getting back to me. The problem seems to lie with google since we use **bleep** accounts at our office. You have probably encountered this issue before. Is there a specific way to solve this for **bleep** accounts?
