Chrome OS

I have been setting up my new HP Officejet Pro 9015e.  Everything went well until I tried to set up: Scan to email.  I have Chrome OS.  And Gmail address.  When I try to test I receive this error:  SMTP email server error. The server might be down or busy. Try again later.  Please help.

Need more details about how you setup the system

What SMTP server are you using

Did you configure the **bleep** account properly. If so you would have a code generated by Google to use for the login to **bleep** for scanning.

I'm using SMTP.google.com

Port 465

When I test it, the message I receive is:  SMTP email server error. The server might be down or busy. Try again later.

I'm trying to configure from my chromebook using the ip address in the browser address.  Is there another way?  The directions are not terribly intuitive.  Thank you for any help you can give me.

Make sure that the gateway and DNS settings on the network page for the printer are correct.
