Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I had an HP 8710 and i used to shan to a network folder it was set up as \\192.168.1.123\scans and it stipped working. My IT guy said it woudl be $100 to fix it and i new I could replace it for $100, so I got a 7740, because it had more features. I still cant figure out how to do it and dont want to pay my IT guy an extra $100 to set up a brand new printer. How do i do this?

Hi,

The HP Officejet Pro 7740 does not provide any digital send capabilities such as scanning to a Network Folder, it supports scanning by the HP Scan software on your computer or using the Scan to Email app from within the Apps menu (which is more limited with its options).

 

You may find the printer specifications below:

so it cant scan to a network drive? where can it scan to?

Scan to email does not work either, i have been trying that. You need a pin, and if you dont have it it wont email it to you. Where do i find my PIN?
