Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Scanner stopped working after HP Smart update for Windows 10. Throws an error while scanning.
With Android, the same scanner works fine.

I have the same Pb with my HP ENVY Photo 6232.

The HP print and scan Doctor  hasn't found an error , but  install HP envy photo 62000 serie scan.

The HP serie scan work well but not as easy to use as HPsmart.

@Sergo12, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Check for any pending Windows updates and reboot the PC

Reinstall the HP Smart app and try to scan.

 

If the issue persists, click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Open the HP Printer Assistant to scan as shown in this document - How to Scan
