Microsoft Windows 11

Got a new computer which has Windows 11 Pro.   Installed the scanning software but when I try to open the software, ti says it cannot find the scanner.  I thought maybe my USB connection cable was bad. However, when I hook the scanner up to a Windows 10 machine everything works fine.  Anybody know what I can do to get it to work on my Windows 11?   I will be retiring my Windows 10 machine very soon.

UPdate to situation:   If the scanner is on when I boot the machine, the scanning works.   It is when the scanner shuts off after non-use and I try to scan, the scanner is not recognized.

I am having the same issue. Just got a new dell precision laptop and docking station. 

 

works when you reboot with scanner on, but will not find the scanner once the computer is on if the scanner is not already on. 

 

Did a fresh install of the software directly from HP site.

It works just fine on the old computer with windows 10

Tried fresh install of software, but does not help.   It does work with my wife's surface pro laptop running windows 10.  So I know it is not the USB cable.
