The following might be be relevant.

If not, search for your new files in your local Document or Pictures folders - perhaps in a sub-folder named Scan or similar

IF you have Cloud Storage set up

For example, you have OneDrive set up,

If you are using an HP Smart > Shortcut to Save the content to OneDrive,

Scan the content > Save by running the Shortcut that designates that Cloud Storage location.

To Find the file(s) you have scanned

Open File Explorer

Open folder OneDrive

Look for and Open folder HP Smart

Look for an Open folder Scan

EXAMPLE

Open File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Users\Dragon\OneDrive\HP Smart\Scan

Replace "Dragon" with the name of your account folder

Example - HP Smart - Shortcut > Edit / Create / Set Shortcut

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are not using a Shortcut to save the scanned content to Cloud Storage,
