I had the C4EBA341 issue a few times, finally got the Printer working. Uninstalled all drivers and drivers. carried out a fresh install over a network. Get to the final step, the printer can't comment to the network, suggest re-run and then it all installs fine. Printer works, the copy does not work, the scanner does not work. This all seems to have come about with the latest software update. But it is now happening too often. I know the printer is OK. It seems to be an issue with the scanning light maybe not registering home. I sometimes get an error saying something is stuck in the document feeder, which is clear and totally empty.
Help please, I seriously thinking about Epson or Canon!

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I suggest you follow the below steps.
Step 1: Reset the printer and check the power source
Reset the printer to calibrate the scanner mechanism, and then check the power source to confirm the printer is getting enough power to operate the copier.
-
Press the Power button to turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
-
Disconnect the power cord from the power source, and then wait 30 seconds.
-
If you previously connected the power cord to a power strip or multi-plug outlet adapter, reconnect the cord directly to a wall outlet to ensure the printer is getting enough power.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer, and then turn on the printer.
-
If you have an HP DeskJet 3700 series printer, calibrate the scanner after resetting the printer.
-
Load the original document or photo, then start a copy job.
-
If the issue persists, connect the printer power cord to a different wall outlet to determine if the original outlet is causing the issue.
-
If the issue persists with a different wall outlet, continue to the next step.
-
Step 2: Check the scanner bar functionality
Perform a visual test of the scanner bar and light for mechanical issues.
-
Remove any original documents or photos from the scanner glass.
-
Lift the scanner lid slightly, and then press the Copy button or icon.
If the scanner light does not move or illuminate
If the issue persists, I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
Can you please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
Have a great day!
