Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28w Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

 Printer Scanner Resolution not consistent - 300 dpi becomes 96 dpi

 

I have HP LaserJet Pro M28w. HP Scan and Capture software . When I scan some drawing to jpeg . I have scanned photo in 300dpi  , the photo will be come  in 96dpi . 

I have tried 1200 dpi as well it is the same .

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried scanning from a different application or device or from the scanner bed? 
  • Have you tried scanning different images or documents?
