@CarChelle, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're scanning multiple documents, but only one is being saved or viewable. Let's get this sorted out!

This usually happens when the scanner is set to save each scan as a separate file, or if the scan job is not configured to compile multiple pages into a single PDF.

Here's how to fix it:

If you're using HP Smart App:

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Click on Scan.
  3. Choose Scanner as the source.
  4. Under File Type, select PDF (not JPEG or PNG).
  5. Enable the option “Save all pages to a single file” (this may appear as “Multi-page PDF”).
  6. After scanning the first page, click Add Page or + to scan the next one.
  7. Once all pages are scanned, click Save.

If you're using HP Scan software (Windows):

  1. Open HP Scan from your Start menu.
  2. Select Document to File.
  3. Choose PDF as the file type.
  4. Check the box for “Save all scanned pages to a single file”.
  5. Scan your documents one by one using the Add Page option.
  6. Click Finish when done, then save the file.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
