Which error messages are
- Printer
- computer
displayed?
And what is the printer name or part number?

No Error Message comes up - I get the scanner to scan finally, then the scan does not show up on my laptop. I should be able to place a document and scan it, with it showing up in my laptop - that simple.
Once I place the document in and hit scan, it takes forever and more to let me know 'The scan could not be completed. Make sure that the scanning software has been installed and configured on your computer and then try again.'

Here's what you need to do:
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories
File name: Full_Webpack-40.16.1234_1-OJ7740_Full_Webpack.exe (116.6 MB) - Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE, see above
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
