Windows latest update seems to have disabled my HP Officejet Pro scanning function. I scanned a page with lots of precision graphics, frames, circles and glyphs without any trouble. But right after I let Windows install the latest update, I could no longer scan anything. Instead, I get an error messages that says "Scanner communication can't be established, check the connections and ensure your network is functioning properly." The network is working fine, but restarts of both computer and printer doesn't make any difference. Sometimes the error message says, cannot find HP Officejet Pro 8625, even though I can print to it all day long. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire suite of HP apps, but it makes no difference. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, because the sudden loss of the scanner is preventing me from being able to work. Thanks, Paul
