Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M281fdw is giving an error message "memory low job cancelled". Can't get it to scan to the computer

I understand you are not able to scan due to this error. Are you able to print?
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Memory is Low message displayed on the control panel
Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
