Welcome to the HP English Community --
I cannot explain why the printer is working at all.
The information I have indicates this printer model does not support Bluetooth.
Lots of other connection possibilities -- Bluetooth is not listed.
Yeah, but...
HP Smart uses Bluetooth and Location service on your mobile device during initial connection of the device and you printer that is on your network.

When you say "functions perfectly" do you mean you can print?
If yes,
What app or software are you using to print?
Perhaps take a look at how the printer is connected to your network.
Note: It is not mandatory that you use a manual / static IP address. Doing so can improve stability.
Example - New EWS format (Select new printers)
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Section Network > Primary Ethernet > Check / Adjust Status and other tabs...
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Section Network > Wi-Fi > Section IP Config > IPv4

Note: Primary Ethernet is similar.
