Everything else works fine it just won't connect the scanner to my laptop, can't find my laptop even though everything has a stable working internet connection.

@laurenless, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  • Are you able to print from your MAC? If yes, it means the connectivity is fine.
  • Which app are you using to scan?
  • Do you get any errors while scanning?

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

 

You may use any method mentioned here to scan from your MAC - How to scan
