Hi there. I bought this all-in-one in May 2018. It is telling me my warranty has expired because it mistakenly thinks I bought it in March 2017. I can print fine but when I insert a sheet to scan and click on 'Scan' in HP Easy Scan, it tells me my printer is 'unavailable', even though it is on and the blue wireless light is on (plus it can print fine).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Many thanks!

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
Removing and re-installing HP Easy Scan may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:

1.) On your Mac, click Finder

2.) Click Applications, drag and drop HP Easy scan to Trash and then empty trash.

3.) Download and install HP Easy Scan from here

If in case HP Easy Scan application fails, try using Image capture to scan.

Here is how to do it:

1.) On your Mac, open Finder

2.) Click Applications and open Image Capture

3.) Select your printer name under Devices.

Refer to this document for instructions on how to scan using Image Capture.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi Senan!

I got through to Sobi in Romania on HP support and we did just that! Deleted Easy Scan and reinstalled it and it worked a treat! Kudos!

Best,

Eugene
