If you're experiencing issues with scanning while printing works fine on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M329dw, you can follow these troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: Verify Printer Connection

  • Network Connection:
    • Ensure that your printer is connected to the same network as your computer. If you're using Wi-Fi, check the printer's connection status on the printer's control panel.
  • Check IP Address:
    • Verify that the IP address of the printer has not changed and is correctly configured in any software or applications you're using for scanning.

Step 2: Restart Devices

  • Restart Printer:
    • Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and turn it back on.
  • Restart Computer:
    • Restart your computer to clear any temporary issues.

Step 3: Update or Reinstall Printer Software

  • HP Full Feature Software:
    • Ensure you have the latest HP full feature software or driver installed, which includes scan drivers. Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers.
  • Reinstall HP Software:
    • If the issue persists, uninstall the existing printer software from "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel, and reinstall the full feature software.

Step 4: Check Firewall and Security Settings

  • Temporarily Disable Firewall:
    • Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on your computer that might be blocking the scanning feature.
  • Add Exceptions:
