I switched from Windows 10 on desktop to a Lenovo Laptop (Yoga 9i) with Windows 11. My printer was working fine for both printing and scanning on the desktop, but now the scanning does not work. Printing works fine. If I use HP Scan, it does not recognize the printer. When I use HP Smart, it shows the printer ready but when I try to scan, I get the message:
The printer is on and ready. I have tried restarting the computer and printer. For a brief period, the scanner worked through HP Smart, but now back to the same problem. I tried using the HP Print and Scan Doctor, but it could not find and correct the issue so referred me to the HP customer care where I can't find anyone. Hope some one has the anser to this problem.
