Why It Happens

• The printer defaults to single-page scan unless you enable multi-page PDF in the HP Smart app or EWS settings.
• If scanning from the printer’s control panel, it usually saves one page at a time.

Recommended Fixes

Option 1: Use HP App (Best Method)

1. Download or open the HP app on your PC or mobile: 👉 HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site
2. Select Scan.
3. After scanning the first page, click Add Page (or “+” icon).
4. Continue scanning all pages.
5. When done, choose Save as PDF → This creates a single multi-page file.

Option 2: Enable Multi-Page in EWS

1. Find your printer’s IP address (print Network Configuration Page).
2. Enter the IP in your browser to open the Embedded Web Server.
3. Go to Scan Settings → Enable Multi-Page PDF.
4. Save changes.

Option 3: Use Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

• If your model has an ADF, load all pages and select Scan to PDF in the HP app or printer menu.
• The printer will combine them automatically.
