Microsoft Windows 11

I recently scanned another art piece and noticed the image was smaller than the actual size. It defaulted to 8.5x11, and the paper size is greyed out. I used to be able to set it to full size. Now it only scans 8.5x11. I literally scanned something full size a week prior to this, and now I am unable to change the scan size. It's as if someone just bricked my scanner.

@Gardeman

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Are you using HP smart app or scanner bed for scan jobs?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  • Open the HP Smart Document Scan Software.
  • Select a scan profile, and then click Edit profile.
  • On the Scan tab of the Profile Settings dialog box, click Page Size.
  • Select the appropriate long-page option.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
