Using the feeder, a black vertical line on the left side, shows on each scanned page

The Automatic document feeder (ADF) has its own glass area. I suggest getting a bright flashlight and examine the area corresponsing to where the line is, almost certainly is a spot on the thin glass strip that happens to be in just the right spot.

Refer to page 27, Clean the ADF section for instructions to clean the ADF Glass.
