Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I think I have successfully stopped the nuisance of "One Drive" and the "Cloud", I think!

I have a new "HPLaptop17-CN3xx", and a "HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e All In One", and "Microsoft 365 Pro", I am trying to scan to my PC but I cannot modify the scans as I want only the headings of the documents in order to set up a "Table of Contents", . In my opinion it should be a simple task, butit will not allow me to copy and paste to a new word document.

If I scan I want it to appear in "My Documents", so I can open it in word and manipulate for my project.

The scanned document and it went to my documents file where I can copy and paste it into Word, but it opens another window but, still does not allow me to highlight and copy what I want.

I am almost 76yo and I don't need all this fandangle crap, I just want simplistic copy, paste an manlipulation.

Can a good person tell me what I am doing wrong? Can someone tell me how to get back to the basics? I don't like what HP is doing now a days, in wanting to control all aspects of my usage of it! I have always liked HP for it's dependability and always recommended it to my customers when I had my own business, but I now think that they are not as dependable as I thought, as I cannot even go to them and get simple answers to my questions!

I look forward to hearing from a more tech savy person that can help me!

I suspect you are scanning a document but it is being stored on your PC as an image which cannot be edited.

OCR driver

Install both of the following Optical character recognition drivers.  They should convert the scan into something that word can read and edit

OCR tools for pdf

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/swdetails/hp-officejet-pro-9120e-all-in-one-series/2101272496/s...

When scanning using the HP App, after the scan, at the bottom right corner should be "Text Extract" which will try to convert the scanned image into text
