Hello
I need some help with scanning.
How can I scan from my HP ENVY 5055 printer without having to sign into my laptop?
My previous HP envy printer allowed me to add 2 email address directly into the printer. When I wanted to scan, I could do so by choosing the email address listed when I hit the scan button.
Does anyone know if the envy 5055 allows me to do this?
Right now I have to initiate the scan through my laptop.
Thanks

Welcome to HP support community.
There is no option to scan to email from printer control panel.
However, you can do it from your printer software.
Refer page no.31 in this HP document for the steps:- Click here
I hope that helps.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
