Hi,

 

I'm evaluating to buy HP DeskJet Advantage 3835. 

 

Is it possible to scan Legal/Folio-size paper using this printer, especially using the ADF?

Hi,

The printer supports scanning a Legal Size paper only from the ADF, the size can be selected from the HP Scan software.

 

You may find the Paper-handling specifications > Supported paper sizes section below as a reference, Legal Size is supported by the top ADF:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-DeskJet-Ink-Advantage-3830-All-in-One-Printer-series/7172328/...

 

Note that it is not supported on the Flatbed Glass, which its size is limited to to Letter / A4 size.
