This is a Mac Monterey. I have a 4-page document to scan. Since Smart Print updated recently, I didn't know how difficult the scan became. I had never scanned a multi-page document before. After scanning each page, I do not know where on the Mac the pages each went. I hope this job doesn't take all night. Also, it seems like I logged in four times before getting to where I could post. Why not make your site more simple?

Hi @tightpurchaser,
Scanners usually put documents in either your user Pictures or Documents folder, often in a subfolder named for the scanner software.
Refer to below document on how to scan from Mac computer.

I remember the black portions of these illustrations, not much else. Instructions are a mass of confusion. Just now I had to switch out of Safari onto Firefox just to get the Edit button to work. There is no Pictures folder. Recent is the name of the folder in Finder that shows newly created, downloaded and saved items. Nothing scanned is there.
